Senior Lecturer – Property Management and Valuation

About the role

The University of Technology Sydney seeks a Senior Lecturer in Property Management and Valuation to join the School of Architecture and Built Environment. This full‑time, continuing academic position will contribute to the UTS Property programmes and the broader national and international property community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching for the Property Economics undergraduate degree and related programmes (≈40% of time).
• Develop and refine UTS Property curricula in line with professional body requirements and market trends.
• Lead research projects, collaborate with colleagues, and present findings to the Faculty and external scholars (≈40% of time).
• Engage with industry partners, professional bodies, and external stakeholders to enhance research impact.
• Participate in service activities, including academic program management and collaborative initiatives (≈20% of time).

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification in property management, valuation, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and teach curricula at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed academic publications appropriate to a senior academic appointment.
• Experience creating links with industry partners and professional bodies.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences and ability to work in a multidisciplinary, collegiate environment.
