Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s allied health team at the Fannie Bay clinic, delivering therapy to children and young people across Australia. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, providing tailored occupational therapy services in clinic, home, school and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy programs, and adjust plans to meet client goals.
• Deliver services across various settings, including group therapy, parent workshops, and home or school visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with privacy, NDIS, and organisational policies.
• Collaborate with allied health team members and external stakeholders to optimise client outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in solution‑focused therapy and early intervention.
• Strong communication, organisational and observational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current AHPRA registration, NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children/Vulnerable People clearance and police check.

Required skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with NDIS funding models and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in using practice management systems for timely record‑keeping.
