Experienced Driving Instructor – Wollongong

About the role

Join NRMA Roadside as a permanent, full‑time Driving Instructor in Wollongong. You will begin with learner lessons and the NSW Safer Drivers Course, then progress to senior assessments and corporate training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver learner driver lessons and the Safer Drivers Course.
• Conduct senior driver assessments and corporate driver training programmes.
• Maintain accurate diaries and manage customer schedules efficiently.

Required profile

• Current Certificate 1V in Transport and Logistics.
• Valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence and NSW C‑class driver’s licence.
• Minimum three years experience as a driver trainer in NSW.
• Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).

Required skills

• Passion for road safety and helping learner drivers become independent.
• Exceptional customer service, empathy and patience.
• Strong communication skills across diverse demographics.
• Thorough knowledge of NSW road rules and regulations.
• Effective diary management and strong work ethic.
