Commercial Business Partner – Drive Profitability

About the role

Cleanaway is seeking a Commercial Business Partner to work closely with regional managers and operational leaders. In this role you will use commercial insight to improve profitability, support business growth and drive transformation initiatives across a multi‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial insight and challenge decisions for regional management to support growth.
• Lead and support transformation projects that increase productivity, simplify processes and reduce costs.
• Influence commercial decisions through rigorous financial analysis, scenario modelling and business case development.
• Own the regional month‑end performance review, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Partner with operational leaders to embed continuous‑improvement practices.
• Develop robust business cases with clear financial baselines, implementation plans and benefit tracking.
• Drive performance against Cleanaway’s commercial value drivers.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or equivalent.
• Proven financial and commercial experience in a complex, multi‑site business.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise, non‑technical manner.
• Experience developing commercial business cases and tracking realised benefits.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior operational stakeholders.
