Business Development Manager – Microsoft

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a driven Business Development Manager – Microsoft to accelerate growth across its Microsoft portfolio. This hunter role focuses on new partner acquisition, pipeline generation and revenue growth, working closely with Microsoft, vendors, partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business, pipeline, revenue and margin growth across the Microsoft portfolio.
• Identify and acquire new partners while developing existing channel opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with Microsoft, vendors, partners and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Develop and execute business development and territory plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to convert pipeline into revenue and maintain accurate forecasting.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in business development, channel sales, partner sales or technology sales.
• Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to generate new business.
• Experience in the Australian technology market and strong commercial acumen.
• Confident communicator with senior and C‑suite stakeholders.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Understanding of IT distribution, cybersecurity, cloud or related technology sectors.
