Banking Consultant – Northern NSW

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers across Northern NSW. You will meet each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations, and educate them on the digital and product solutions available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑standard customer service that turns clients into strong advocates for ANZ.
• Engage customers through transaction activities, needs‑based discussions and digital education.
• Support bank programs and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team.
• Work rostered Saturday shifts as required to meet branch operating hours.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus with retail banking experience.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering on customer promises.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
