Student Marketeer - Townsville

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a part-time Student Marketeer in Townsville. As a brand and product ambassador, the role represents the brand on and off campus, encourages positive product trial and awareness among students, supports sales teams with sales drives and merchandising, and works at Red Bull events. It also gathers consumer insights on how people perceive the brand and shares them with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: live the brand personality and values and invite students to try and become aware of Red Bull through sampling.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible on and around campus, and help open new distribution points.
• Work at Red Bull events to make sure consumers have an unforgettable experience with the brand.
• Plan activities, report in a timely manner and share local insights, trends and opportunities with the wider business.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1.5 years left of university enrolment, studying a Bachelor's degree at JCU Townsville.
• Available to work up to 18 hours a week across weekends and weekdays.
• Desire to learn marketing, events and sales skills.
• Naturally organised, pays attention to detail, and can work alone and in a team.
• Valid full driver's licence and proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Qualified to work in Australia; Red Bull Australia may ask for proof of eligibility under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).
