Clinical Nurse – Hemodialysis

About the role

Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Clinical Nurse in our Brighton dialysis clinic, delivering life‑sustaining haemodialysis treatments and building trusted relationships with patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care within the haemodialysis setting using advanced nephrology nursing skills.
• Coordinate care for a group of dialysis patients, collaborating with nephrologists and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients, carers, staff and visitors, and act as a preceptor for junior nurses.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection control, occupational health and safety, and clinical research projects.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and uphold privacy standards.

Required profile

• Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in nephrology.
• Ability to work independently, reflect on practice and engage in continuous professional development.
• Strong organisational, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced nephrology nursing competence.
• Computer literacy, including use of the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS).
