Assistant Sales Manager – Flagship Store

About the role

Join one of MECCA’s most iconic flagship locations as an Assistant Sales Manager, leading a floor of the high‑volume George St store and supporting the Sales Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a diverse team of 80+ members across one of the store’s three floors.
• Model exceptional customer service on the shop floor and drive MECCA Magic daily.
• Support the Sales Manager in achieving store performance targets, KPIs and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and store leaders.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience in a large‑scale, high‑volume or complex store environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to analyse performance and drive results.
• Passion for beauty, fashion and creating memorable customer moments.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
