Warehouse Operator – Storeperson (Defence Aviation)

About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to support the AH‑64 Apache sustainment team in Townsville. You will play a critical part in handling and distributing defence aviation materiel while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, store and distribute defence aviation materiel in accordance with BDA and ADF policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Support disposal recommendations and take required actions.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to address supply‑chain risks.
• Collaborate closely with the wider warehouse team on all operational activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years experience in defence aerospace or Foreign Military Sales supply‑chain management.
• Experience with defence warehousing and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual.
• High Risk Work Licence and Australian citizenship for security clearance.

Required skills

• ERP SAP (Defence Aviation Logistic IT system).
