Senior Surveyor – Rail Infrastructure Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join the Alliance team on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project. Based in Beenleigh, you will support design verification and construction delivery for a major rail corridor that will double track capacity and upgrade stations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate survey activities across the project, including set‑out, as‑built verification and control network management.
• Review and quality‑check survey data to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Provide topographic and engineering survey information to design teams.
• Mentor junior survey staff and provide technical guidance.
• Liaise with subcontractors, designers and construction teams to resolve survey‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate survey records and documentation in line with Alliance and Queensland Rail/TMR requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma qualification in Surveying (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience in a senior surveying role on major civil, rail or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of survey control, set‑out and as‑built processes.
• Experience working within alliance or joint‑venture delivery models is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple delivery partners.
• Current driver’s licence and construction industry white card.
