Robotics Engineer

About the role

COREMATIC is looking for a Robotics Engineer to design, develop and deliver innovative robotic automation solutions for its turnkey projects. This hands‑on position involves custom robot programming, system integration, prototyping, troubleshooting, optimisation and commissioning of advanced industrial robots.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robotic automation solutions for diverse industries.
• Program industrial robots and integrate them with automation platforms.
• Develop prototypes, perform system testing and optimise performance.
• Troubleshoot and commission robotic systems on‑site.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Robotics, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with industrial robots, including application support and integration.
• Proficiency in robot programming languages and industrial automation platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C and C#; familiarity with MATLAB.
• Experience using CAD software for technical drawings and schematics.
• Proven ability to provide customer/application support and commission robotic systems.
• Fluent English and French, full Australian working rights, and ability to work onsite Monday‑Friday.

What we offer

• Salary range $85,000 – $105,000 per annum plus superannuation.
