Manager, Engagement & Change Advisory (10‑Month Contract)

About the role

Join Aurecon's Engagement & Change Advisory team as a Manager, leading complex stakeholder and community engagement programmes and organisational transformation initiatives across a range of infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design and delivery of large‑scale stakeholder and community engagement or organisational change programmes.
• Build and manage senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and project directors.
• Identify and convert business‑development opportunities through proposals, account management and work‑winning activities.
• Provide strategic advice on stakeholder risk, social impact, change readiness and communication approaches.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver advisory outcomes across infrastructure, energy, water, transport and built‑environment projects.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Engagement & Change Advisory practice.
• Coach, mentor and develop consultants, fostering a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience in stakeholder/community engagement, communications, social impact or change management.
• Proven track record leading large, complex programmes in government, infrastructure or private‑sector environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with business‑development and revenue‑growth experience.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and influence decisions.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving and facilitation capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Communications, Change Management, HR, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Community Development).
