Logistics Operation Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Operations Specialist supports efficient warehouse and supply‑chain activities by managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring timely distribution of goods across multiple locations. This role maintains compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store and issue goods across several warehouse sites while maintaining accurate inventory records and SAP transactions.
• Prepare, package, palletise and dispatch consignments, including AMC freight, and complete all related documentation.
• Conduct internal deliveries, assist with stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and support procurement, disposal and inventory planning.
• Provide responsive customer service to stakeholders and contribute to safe, compliant logistics operations.
• Operate material‑handling equipment and lift items up to 25 kg, working in outdoor or remote environments as required.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Certificate IV in Logistics and Warehousing or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 12 months experience in logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain roles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• US or Australian citizenship with eligibility for NV‑1/SECRET (Australia) or SSBI (US) security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and other inventory management systems (WMS).
• Operation of material‑handling equipment, including forklift.
• Computer literacy for inventory analysis and record‑keeping.
