HR Superintendent – Mining Operations

About the role

We are looking for an HR Superintendent to lead the human resources function at our Cracow Gold Operations in Queensland. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will provide high‑level HR support across a remote FIFO mining environment, driving culture, capability and people outcomes aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, delivering coaching on people management, leadership development and performance.
• Manage employee relations, workforce planning and performance development for the entire site.
• Partner with corporate HR while operating autonomously to identify risks and implement practical people solutions.
• Maintain a visible on‑site presence, building trusted relationships at all organisational levels.
• Produce analytical reports and HR metrics to support operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• Senior HR experience (5+ years) in mining, resources or a comparable operational setting.
• Strong employee‑relations and leadership‑coaching capability.
• Proactive, resilient and solutions‑focused mindset with commercial acumen.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and systems capability.
• Ability to work independently and influence across all levels.

Required skills

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
• Proficient use of MS Office and other HR software.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
