About the role

Hyatt Regency Brisbane is seeking an energising and confident Duty Manager to join its Front Office and Operations teams. You will be the point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and a memorable guest experience in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, train and support the hotel team to deliver excellent customer service while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
• Observe service behaviours, provide feedback, and continuously improve service performance.
• Communicate new policies, support change initiatives, and ensure drivers of guest satisfaction are in place.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, resolve issues, and follow up to maximise satisfaction.
• Maintain the daily duty log, manage guest incident reports, and ensure accurate cashiering and credit procedures.
• Liaise with Finance to uphold audit standards and manage liquor licensing responsibilities.
• Act as Chief Warden, overseeing safety, first‑aid, fire and emergency procedures to keep the property secure.
