About the role

International Lubricant Distributors (ILD) is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across Western Australia’s mining, transport and construction sectors. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will own a defined territory, build a pipeline of new opportunities and convert them into long‑term supply agreements.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target tier‑one and tier‑two contractors, mining services firms and equipment operators in WA.
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy that aligns with ILD’s growth objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and tendering to negotiation and contract signing.
  • Collaborate with ILD’s technical and operational teams to deliver superior product and service solutions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and forecast revenue performance.

Required profile

  • Proven B2B sales experience within WA’s mining services or contractor community.
  • Established relationships with key players in the mining, transport and construction sectors.
  • Deep understanding of tender processes and the ability to displace incumbent suppliers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating complex agreements.
  • Self‑motivated, autonomous and able to thrive in a field‑based environment.

Required skills

  • Pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Negotiation of commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of WA mining and construction market dynamics.
