About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition for Master Apps, a leading SaaS provider in the workers‑compensation and regulated‑industry space. Based in Australia – preferably Sydney – you will build and own a pipeline from scratch, working closely with partners and channel networks to expand our commercial footprint over the next two years.
Key responsibilities
- Own a personal new‑business target and manage a structured pipeline to achieve it.
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach, referrals, partner channels and inbound follow‑up.
- Conduct discovery conversations, deliver tailored product demos and develop proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and oversee contract execution.
- Build and nurture relationships with brokers, rehabilitation providers and other channel partners.
- Represent Master Apps at industry events and conferences to raise market presence.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and market feedback to the Commercial Lead and CEO.
Required profile
- Proven commercial drive with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong curiosity and ability to build genuine relationships in a niche market.
- Experience in SaaS/technology sales or in the personal injury/rehabilitation industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
