Broker Manager – Portfolio & Business Banking

About the role

This position sits within the Broker Partnerships Portfolio team of ANZ's Commercial Broker & Origination division. The manager will drive higher engagement with less‑active brokers through digital channels, educate brokers on ANZ products and processes, and support national and state‑wide broker events.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercial settlements from accredited brokers.
• Manage a portfolio of less‑active brokers and increase their engagement.
• Conduct proactive business‑development activities aligned with a structured calling strategy.
• Improve referral and sales volumes from the broker portfolio.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation, commission, onboarding and off‑boarding requirements.
• Promote best practices and adhere to non‑financial risk priorities.
• Educate and up‑skill brokers on ANZ policies and processes.
• Coordinate and host monthly national broker webinars.
• Support content creation for statewide broker events.
• Collaborate with senior broker managers to align local broker strategies.

Required profile

• Experience managing commercial broker relationships and portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business‑development skills.
• Understanding of compliance, accreditation and risk frameworks.
• Ability to deliver training and webinars to broker audiences.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering results.
