About the role
We are looking for a B2B Sales Process Trainer to design and deliver training for our Australian utility sales teams. The role will ensure consultants are knowledgeable, compliant and high‑performing in selling electricity, gas, internet, EFTPOS and fuel cards to business customers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver new‑hire induction and ongoing sales training covering the Australian utilities market, product knowledge, sales pitch, objection handling, closing techniques and CRM usage.
- Create training assets such as playbooks, videos, call scripts, quizzes and certification tests.
- Conduct live call monitoring, side‑by‑side coaching and feedback sessions to improve conversion rates, QA scores and handling time.
- Partner with QA and Operations to reinforce compliance with Australian energy sales and disclosure standards.
- Analyse performance data, identify skill gaps and recommend improvements to processes, scripts and training programmes.
- Lead daily huddles, weekly learning sessions and calibration meetings with team leaders and QA.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in sales training or coaching, preferably within the Australian energy, telecom or BPO sectors.
- Strong understanding of the Australian B2B utilities market and related regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to track and improve key performance indicators such as conversion rate, QA score and training pass rate.
