About the role
A mining owner/operator, represented by Pearl Recruitment Group, is looking for an experienced Yard Person to join its tier yard in Guildford because of increased workload. This is a long-term role, Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and organise materials, equipment and stock
- Operate 3T and 16T forklifts, loaders, trucks, light vehicles and excavators
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard and worksite
- Follow WHS procedures and wear required PPE
- Receive deliveries, pick and pack orders and load transport vehicles
- Secure stock and maintain tools, machinery, equipment and storage areas
Required profile
- At least 2 years' experience in mining or industrial parts
- Forklift experience with Ugly Freight, 3T to 16 tonnes
- High-risk forklift ticket, loader and excavator ticket plus experience
- HR driver's licence
- Fit and healthy, able to pass medical and DAS; Stat Dec / NPC within 12 months
