Operations Supervisor

About the role

Visy Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead its Intermodal transport operation in Yennora. You will coordinate drivers, manage container movements and optimise fleet utilisation to ensure safe, efficient and on‑time freight delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support drivers and operational staff on a daily basis.
• Coordinate fleet movements, load planning and resource allocation.
• Manage container inventory and oversee container park activities.
• Monitor wharf, rail and customer requirements to meet service commitments.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding operational updates.

Required profile

• Experience supervising operations within transport, logistics, intermodal or wharf cartage environments.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport compliance.
• Proven ability to lead drivers and operational teams in a fast‑paced setting.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
