Website Designer & SEO Specialist

About the role

The Media Park is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Website Designer & SEO Specialist to join our boutique agency in Newcastle. This part‑time position blends website design using modern builders with strategic SEO implementation to boost client visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build responsive WordPress sites with Elementor, from concept to launch.
• Create landing pages for campaigns and update existing sites on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and other platforms.
• Perform QA, testing, troubleshooting and coordinate website launches.
• Monitor client sites for functionality, resolve errors, and ensure integrations work correctly.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies, including keyword research, competitor analysis (Semrush), technical SEO fixes, on‑page optimisation, content recommendations and local SEO improvements.
• Track rankings, traffic and SEO performance, providing regular reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in website design and SEO.
• Strong eye for design, user experience and responsive layouts.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to continue learning.
