Landscape Architect

About the role

Arcadia Landscape Architecture is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its newly established Newcastle studio. You will work on diverse projects from concept through to completion, shaping innovative and sustainable urban spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with managing projects across various scales and types, from initial concept to successful delivery.
• Develop innovative, sustainable design solutions that push the boundaries of landscape architecture.
• Prepare detailed design documentation and technical specifications using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to agreed scope.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience delivering public realm, civic, infrastructure or complex landscape projects.
• Strong design and documentation skills with an eye for technical detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaborative abilities.
• Genuine passion for sustainability and innovative design.
