Senior Motion Designer

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Senior Motion Designer. The role leads the design and animation of motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product explainers, social content and digital advertising, and works closely with Creative, Marketing and Product teams. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and animation of motion graphics for marketing, product explainers, social content and digital advertising
• Create storyboards, frames and animation sequences aligned with brand objectives
• Maintain visual consistency and technical quality across all motion outputs
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing and Product teams, and mentor junior motion designers
• Work with video editors, videographers and graphic designers to produce cohesive multimedia content
• Present design concepts to stakeholders clearly and persuasively
• Oversee motion production from concept to delivery and manage multiple projects at once
• Develop reusable templates and motion design systems, and troubleshoot animation, rendering or VFX issues
• Explore advanced VFX, 3D animation and emerging digital formats

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Multimedia Design or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation or creative production
• Strong sense of storytelling, timing and visual composition
• Proven ability to lead creative direction and guide teams
• Excellent project management, organisational and communication skills
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating advanced motion design and animation work

Required skills

• Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Cinema 4D and Blender are a plus
