Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist – C‑17 Global Fleet

About the role

Join Boeing Defense Australia’s C‑17 Globemaster G3 team as a Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist, supporting the virtual C‑17 fleet at RAAF Base Amberley. You will manage inventory, handle receipt and dispatch, and ensure timely support for aircraft operations.

Key responsibilities

• Transact using inventory management systems (Warehouse on Web, GOLD ESP, Defence ERP) to support project activities.
• Manage and control inventory accounts, including serviceable, repairable, quarantine, and disposal items in line with Defence and Boeing policies.
• Perform receipt, storage, handling, packaging, shipping and issue of inventory from the warehouse.
• Work afternoon and weekend shifts and be on call as required.
• Raise high‑priority demands for Amberley‑based aircraft and support virtual C‑17 international fleet partners.
• Apply packing and export processes to meet Known Consignor accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
• Desire to develop expertise in supply support roles and inventory management systems.
• Experience with integrated logistics support concepts and Defence or commercial inventory systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities for stakeholder interaction.
• Security clearance (NV1 preferred, baseline acceptable).
• Experience in aviation or Defence environments is highly desirable.
