Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the Inbound team at Medline’s Sydney Distribution Centre, ensuring inventory is received, processed, stored and made available safely and accurately. You will support a major Manhattan WMS implementation starting January 2027 and help embed new processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day activities of the Inbound team, managing freight schedules, container movements and inventory flow.
• Monitor service, productivity, quality and inventory performance, addressing issues promptly.
• Coach team members and Warehouse Team Leads to build capability, accountability and engagement.
• Support labour planning, adjust resources to changing priorities, and work closely with Planning, Supply Chain and Quality teams.
• Participate in warehouse projects, operational change initiatives and the ongoing optimisation of the Manhattan WMS.

Required profile

• Experience leading people in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment (Team Leader, Leading Hand or Warehouse Supervisor).
• Demonstrated project experience within a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Hands‑on, adaptable leadership style with a focus on safety and high‑performance culture.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway and inventory movements.
• Experience using Manhattan WMS (highly desirable).
