Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Lyppard is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to lead its Townsville operation during a period of growth. As the senior on‑site leader you will oversee day‑to‑day warehouse activities, ensure safety and quality, and act as the key escalation point for operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team through clear direction, coaching, performance management and development planning.
• Prioritise receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery activities to meet service requirements.
• Track KPIs and use operational data to improve productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile stock and promptly address discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, temperature‑control, shipping and SOPs.
• Coordinate warehouse equipment, facilities and delivery fleet to support reliable operations.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution or logistics operations.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop team members while maintaining accountability.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, dispatch, safety and service delivery.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, resolve issues and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Current forklift licence (essential).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
