Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

ABB Traction is looking for a skilled Warehouse Coordinator to work onsite in Maryborough, Queensland. The role reports to the Production Manager - Converters and covers incoming and outgoing goods, keeping warehousing operations safe, timely and efficient. It suits someone with strong communication and organisational skills, who is detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate data in the ERP system, with precise and up-to-date entries.
• Check the quality of incoming goods and inspect them against required standards before storage.
• Keep daily contact with suppliers to manage orders, resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
• Take part in regular inventory control to monitor stock levels and keep records accurate.
• Oversee and carry out packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching safely and on schedule.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• A valid forklift licence is essential.
• Logistics, supply chain or business management qualifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean management principles is a plus.
