Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson for its client, an international distributor of aftermarket truck and bus parts. The position is based in Kewdale, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm, with immediate start and ongoing availability.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks and move stock around the warehouse
• Operate a forklift where required
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock
• Complete stocktakes and inventory counts
• Help walk-in customers collect orders and answer general enquiries
• Restock and keep warehouse locations organised, and keep the area clean, tidy and safe

Required profile

• Previous warehousing or storeperson experience
• WA driver's licence and reliable transport
• Full Australian working rights for the duration of the assignment
• Ability to start immediately

Required skills

• High-risk forklift licence preferred
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of the light or heavy automotive industry is an advantage

What we offer

• Pay of $35.00 per hour plus superannuation and penalties
