Vulnerability Management Specialist

About the role

The Vulnerability Management Specialist will join Leidos' AGO GEO SPACES Security Operations Centre in Canberra, delivering end‑to‑end vulnerability management for mission‑critical systems. The role is onsite and requires an Australian citizenship and an active TSPV security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vulnerability notification, tracking, escalation and stakeholder engagement across the SOC and Security Engineering teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vulnerability‑related queries, providing timely advice to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Drive process and technology uplift, ensuring alignment with defined maturity levels and service level agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vulnerability management within complex cyber‑security environments.
• Ability to communicate risk clearly and make informed assessments under time constraints.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with common vulnerability management toolsets and cloud integrations.
• Experience deploying, testing and validating vulnerability management tools at enterprise scale.
• Understanding of how vulnerability management integrates with threat intelligence, incident response and detection engineering.
