AH64 Project Support Officer

About the role

The Army Aviation enterprise is undergoing rapid change with new rotary wing platforms. The Capability Implementation Team (CIT) supports the AH-64E Apache program, managing capability implementation and milestone achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the SO1 Attack Helicopters with execution of the AH-64E Capability Realisation Plan, including project management and schedule maintenance.
• Liaise with CASG Project Office staff, operational units, and cross‑department teams for document development and working groups.
• Manage test and evaluation planning, supporting T&E managers and reviewing activities through committees.
• Coordinate maritime role expansion requirements with RAN organisations.
• Prepare evidence packs for milestone achievements and removal of operational limitations.

Required profile

• Located in Canberra (Fairbairn) with Australian citizenship; minimum NV1 security clearance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Desirable experience with Microsoft Project, Army Aviation, military helicopters, or Apache platforms.
• Background in engineering, technical, logistics, or contract management.
