About the role
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is seeking an experienced Urologist to join its team as a Visiting Medical Officer. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical care to urology patients in a state‑of‑the‑art rural facility.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supervise trainees, and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology) or equivalent overseas specialist pathway.
- Demonstrated expertise in urology, ongoing professional development, and ability to mentor junior staff and trainees.
