Vice President, Transition Management Sales APAC

About the role

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Vice President to lead Transition Management sales across the Asia‑Pacific region, with a focus on Australia. The role will originate and close high‑value transition mandates for institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert transition management opportunities with asset owners, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, asset managers, consultants and other institutional investors.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, managing prospects through the full sales cycle and partnering with existing State Street relationship teams.
• Collaborate with State Street Investment Services, Markets and Investment Management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on manager changes, portfolio restructurings, fund mergers and large cash‑flow events, presenting proposals to CIOs, investment committees and senior stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence on competitive activity, industry trends and client priorities, and represent State Street at industry events.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in institutional sales, transition management, capital markets, custody, trading or related fields.
• Proven track record of winning institutional mandates and building senior decision‑maker relationships.
• Strong understanding of institutional investment management and capital markets.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
