Vice President – Transition Management Sales APAC

About the role

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Vice President to lead Transition Management sales across the Asia‑Pacific region, with a focus on Australia. The role will drive business development, originate mandates and position Transition Management as a strategic solution for institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and win transition management mandates from asset owners, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, asset managers and consultants.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with CIOs, investment committees, trustee boards and other decision‑makers.
• Partner with State Street relationship teams to uncover transition events and create integrated client solutions.
• Present transition strategies, manage the full sales cycle and provide market intelligence on trends and competition.
• Represent State Street at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in institutional sales, transition management, capital markets or related fields.
• Proven track record of originating and closing high‑value opportunities with institutional investors.
• Strong network of senior decision‑makers across the APAC region.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
