Veterinary Nurse - Kippa Ring

About the role

Greencross Vets Kippa Ring, a busy small animal clinic on the Redcliffe Peninsula specialising mainly in dogs and cats, is looking for an experienced Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse for a full-time position following its recent renovation and expansion. Part-time and casual roles are also available. The nurse supports the veterinarians and provides care to patients and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
• Medical nursing and inpatient/hospital patient care
• Assisting with consultations, diagnostics and treatments
• Client communication and education

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years' experience in a veterinary nursing role
• Strong clinical knowledge of general nursing procedures
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
• Positive, reliable, team-oriented approach with excellent communication and client relationship skills

Required skills

• Confidence with surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills
