VCE VM/VPC Teacher - Dandenong

About the role

Community College Gippsland (CCG) is recruiting a full-time VCE VM/VPC teacher for its Dandenong campus. The school offers hands-on, personalised learning with smaller classes and a strong support network, and aims to help students re-engage in education through flexible, innovative delivery focused on senior pathways. The position starts in September 2027 and is ongoing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Year 9/10 and VCE VM/VPC learning and assessment materials in line with VCAA requirements.
• Support student growth through individual learning plans and student support plans, and take part in student care meetings.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and trauma-informed environment, working with families and support teams.
• Take part in camps, excursions, award nights and other school activities.
• Maintain high-quality records, report on student achievement regularly and take part in moderation and professional learning.
• Prepare and take part in student/parent/guardian interviews at least twice a year.
• Follow child-safe policies and health and safety procedures, and act in line with the school's values of integrity, inclusion, quality, collaboration and safety.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or permission to teach.
• Current driver's licence.
• Knowledge of senior pathways and the Year 9/10 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate and individualise learning plans.
• Experience of, or familiarity with, trauma-informed practice and the needs of marginalised and vulnerable children.
• Collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community.
