Upsell Sales Development Representative (Remote, Australia)

About the role

Join Employment Hero as an Upsell Sales Development Representative and help expand our existing customer base across ANZ. Working remotely from anywhere in Australia, you will partner with Account Executives to identify and qualify new revenue opportunities within current accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate and qualify outbound upsell opportunities within existing customers through personalised outreach.
• Re‑engage disengaged accounts to uncover renewed interest or expansion potential.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to progress deals and ensure a seamless handover.
• Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline, partnering with Customer Success and Marketing to surface expansion signals.
• Research accounts to identify key stakeholders and expansion opportunities.
• Initiate outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Conduct discovery calls to align Employment Hero solutions with business needs.
• Route qualified opportunities to Account Executives for closure.
• Maintain detailed records of all outreach in CRM tools.
• Participate in outbound campaigns with Marketing to support product launches.

Required profile

• Based in Australia and able to work remotely.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple outreach activities and maintain accurate CRM data.

• Competitive base salary of $72,000 AUD.
• Uncapped OTE up to $128,640 AUD (140%+ achievable).
