Truck Driver – Heavy Combination – Kenwick WA

About the role

Fremantle Freight & Storage (FFS) is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Heavy Combination (HC) driver to join its Transport Operations team in Kenwick, WA. You will be responsible for safely moving containerised freight, meeting delivery schedules, and upholding company and legislative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver customer freight while meeting scheduled delivery timeframes.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with road laws, fatigue‑management requirements, and company policies.
• Complete delivery documentation and accurately report any delivery or vehicle issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine pre‑start inspections.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Current HC (Heavy Combination) licence – minimum requirement.
• Eligibility to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) as a Port Carrier.
• Previous port or wharf cartage experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong understanding of road safety, Chain of Responsibility, and fatigue‑management requirements.
• Reliable, safety‑focused and able to work independently in a fast‑paced transport environment.
