Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to join our Balcatta Support Centre on a six‑month contract. The role supports the smooth operation of facilities by managing procurement and stock levels in line with Sodexo policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to source goods and services.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure safety and hazard awareness in all procurement and storage activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in purchasing and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong initiative, ownership, and multi‑tasking capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt priorities and travel intra‑ or interstate as needed.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and customer focus.
