Transport Supervisor – Sunshine Coast

About the role

Metroll, a leading Australian manufacturer of metal building products, is looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee its Sunshine Coast transport operations. This leadership role involves managing drivers, coordinating deliveries and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily delivery runs and manifests.
• Lead, train and develop a team of drivers.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time, in full, and meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate oversize deliveries, including pilot vehicle arrangements and site planning.
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery requirements and timing.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Maintain compliance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and NHVR regulations.
• Support day‑to‑day operations such as loading, vehicle movements and occasional relief driving.

Required profile

• Current HC Truck Licence with experience handling oversize loads.
• Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in transport, logistics or fleet coordination.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• HC Truck Licence.
• Experience with oversize load handling.
• Knowledge of transport planning or scheduling systems.
• Basic computer and spreadsheet proficiency.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Overhead crane operation experience (desirable).
