Transport Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Transport Engineer to join its Perth team, delivering traffic and road‑safety solutions for a range of private‑sector, state and local‑government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop traffic impact assessments and related reports.
• Conduct road‑safety engineering assessments and design solutions.
• Design traffic‑engineering features such as car parks, intersections, accesses, signage and road markings.
• Develop and maintain existing client relationships.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring client ideas to life.
• Mentor junior staff to build their technical capabilities.
• Manage project planning and resourcing activities.

Required profile

• Relevant traffic and road‑safety experience, preferably with planning authorities or state government agencies.
• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field.
• Chartered status (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, collaborative teams.
