Transport Coordinator – Fleet Operations

About the role

Sims Limited is seeking a Transport Coordinator to shape fleet operations and drive cost‑effective logistics across its network. You will work closely with sales, operations and external delivery partners to ensure allocations meet customer expectations while maintaining safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement flexible allocation models that uncover new service opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with delivery partners across sales and operations.
• Maintain timely, accurate customer communications aligned with allocation decisions.
• Plan logistics and resource allocation proactively to anticipate demand.
• Schedule orders to maximise volume, profitability and service outcomes.
• Execute allocations within Chain of Responsibility and NHVR fatigue‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated capability in fleet allocation and scheduling (highly desired).
• Strong awareness of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue‑management requirements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
