About the role
Exodas Transport is seeking a proactive Transport Allocator to join its logistics team in Yatala, Queensland. You will coordinate driver schedules and ensure freight moves efficiently across the East Coast network.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule drivers for timely pickup and delivery of freight.
- Rostering and managing drivers to maximise utilisation of trucks and trailers.
- Communicate clear instructions and expectations to drivers, internal staff and external partners.
- Monitor compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibility) and fatigue‑management legislation.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of daily driver movements and equipment usage.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset.
- Experience with produce or refrigerated freight is advantageous.
- Understanding of fatigue‑management principles and relevant legislation.
