Transport Allocator – Haulage Coordination

About the role

The Transport Allocator will coordinate tipper truck movements across multiple civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient fleet utilisation and timely delivery. This role sits at the heart of our operations, linking clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and schedule tipper trucks for various project sites.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractor fleets.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and adjust allocations to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to align truck movements with project timelines.
• Resolve any allocation issues promptly to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Haulage or Transport Allocator.
• Solid understanding of the civil construction and bulk haulage industry.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Established contacts with tipper truck subcontractors are highly regarded.
