Transitions Consultant - Government & Defence Relocation

About the role

Toll Group's Government & Defence team is looking for Transitions Consultants to join its offices in Parramatta and Adelaide. The main focus is making sure services are delivered according to contractual requirements, including arranging and completing on-site visits to customers' residences to determine the scope of the removal service. The role can be based in Adelaide CBD with local travel in the Greater Adelaide region, or in Parramatta with local travel in the Greater Sydney region.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with providers, set up review mechanisms and promote innovative solutions to meet contract requirements.
• Know the contractual documentation for relocation service providers, including the Deed of Agreement, Statement of Requirements and Minimum Standards.
• Report provider WHS incidents and hold safety conversations with the relevant manager.
• Ensure providers comply with statutory compliance and safety regulations.
• Understand client culture and respond quickly to service delivery issues.

Required profile

• Excellent experience in a customer-facing customer service position.
• Relocation industry experience is a bonus.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident, entitled to work in Australia.
• Current C class driver's licence, as the position is 90% on the road.
• Initiative, strong desire to achieve results, professional work ethic, flexibility and ability to adapt to constant change.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
