Transfer Station Attendant (Temp) - Geraldton

About the role

A leading environmental and waste management provider is looking for a Transfer Station Attendant to join its busy team in Geraldton. This is a casual, 3-month assignment paid $38.44 per hour plus super, with a Monday to Friday roster subject to site requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct customers and contractors to the appropriate disposal and recycling areas
• Inspect, sort and manage waste and recyclable materials
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised transfer station environment
• Operate site equipment and perform basic maintenance where authorised
• Provide customer service and assist with daily site operations
• Follow workplace health, safety, environmental and operational procedures
• Assist with general site duties as required

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to lift moderate to heavy loads
• Own transport and ability to travel reliably to the site
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude
• Willingness to do hands-on, physically demanding work
