Transaction Services FDD Professional - Associate Director / Senior Manager

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring an Associate Director / Senior Manager for its Transaction Services Deals team in Sydney. The role combines financial due diligence expertise, digital fluency and commercial insight to support Private Equity, infrastructure investors and leading corporates on high-profile transactions. You will lead financial due diligence and advisory engagements, working with private equity, infrastructure, listed and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex, commercially focused financial due diligence, producing high-quality insights that support major transactions
• Oversee buy-side and sell-side engagements, analysing financial performance, key value drivers and risks
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, turning analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
• Build deep sector and client understanding and use PwC's advanced tools, including AI and analytics, to improve delivery and the client experience
• Lead, coach and develop junior team members
• Contribute to the growth of the Transaction Services practice across the deals lifecycle

Required profile

• Experience partnering with private equity, corporate and infrastructure investors on complex, high-profile transactions
• Background in transaction services, assurance (e.g. external audit), corporate finance or valuations
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and meet tight deadlines
• Commercial acumen, with a track record of long-term client and stakeholder relationships
• Professional accounting qualification and/or relevant tertiary degree (e.g. Commerce, Finance, CA/CPA, CFA, Finsia, MBA)
