Training Specialist – Passenger Services

About the role

dnata is seeking a Training Specialist to support passenger services training at Sydney International Airport. The role works closely with the National Training team and local management to deliver and organise training that meets airline and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver cost‑effective training to colleagues on an ad‑hoc and hybrid basis.
• Liaise with specialists and client airlines to ensure training resources are current and appropriate.
• Assist the training team with compliance reporting, expiry tracking and recurrence planning.
• Support sign‑off processes to ensure all team members meet company standards.
• Provide feedback, mentoring and support to buddies and subject‑matter experts.
• Complete paperwork and enter data into VETrak.
• Assist with training document control, review and data entry for other ports.
• Perform any additional ad‑hoc duties required by the training department.

Required profile

• Proven experience with VETrak (essential).
• Willingness to be signed off on multiple passenger services functions such as PAX Assist, Check‑in and Delta/Gate supervision.
• High level of computer literacy and familiarity with training management systems.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework and VET/RTO quality standards.
