Learning & Development Specialist – Driver Training

About the role

NRMA Driver Training is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver and continuously improve corporate driver training and instructor capability programs. You will work directly with instructors, trainers and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, consistent training across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver approved driver training programs to corporate clients and provide induction and ongoing group training for new and existing driver trainers.
• Provide 1:1 in‑car coaching to instructors, analyse feedback, and contribute to the design and improvement of training content, delivery approaches and on‑road routes.
• Maintain training records, complete required administration and work closely with internal stakeholders to meet agreed standards.

Required profile

• Confident facilitator and coach with experience in training, coaching or facilitation, preferably in a services environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to travel across Sydney metro, regional NSW, the ACT and occasional interstate/NZ locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common digital tools such as LMS, MS Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (TLI41225) and TAE40122 Training and Assessment, plus an unrestricted driver’s licence.
